A digital exchange has been installed at 15 for the below mentioned function:

Elite Police Force
 

The Elite Police  also known as the "Elite Force" or "Police Commandos", is a branch of the Punjab Police specializing in Counter-Terrorist operations and VVIP security duties, as well as acting against serious crimes and performing high-risk operations which can't be carried out by the regular police. Gujranwala Region Police is also equipped with the Elite force in all over the districts of the Region.

Dolphin Force
  Dolphin Force is a new force established to control street crimes and to  ensure  the security of citizens. Dolphin Force  has been functioning in Gujranwala.

Anti-Car Lifting Team
 

Gujranwala Region Police  has also been taken an appreciable initiative to establish Anti-Car Lifting Cells to overcome the theft of vehicles. Anti-Car lifting Cell is responsible to combat crimes related to vehicle threats.

Police Qaumi Razakar
  The Police Qaumi Razakars help the police in all the districts of Gujranwala Region, specially at the occasions of Muharram ul Harram, Eids, Elections etc.

Homicide Investigation Unit
  First step to prevail specialization culture in policing.

Counter Terrorism Department
  In 1995, the Criminal Investigation Department was formally created and it operates under the CID Manual, 1937. Starting as a small operational unit, it has now developed into a department having its regional offices all over the Punjab. On 21-07-2010, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) was named as Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).

Punjab Highway Patrol
  The main aim to make this force is to safe highways and to change the image of police in people which is becoming monster. PHP Posts were constructed on highways of Province of Punjab. These posts got operationalized on May, 2005. Well qualified and trained officials have been posted. A free Helpline 1124 was made by PHP.
